Sometimes, the Inspiration is Sleeping

…so you put it to bed with a warm cup of milk, and let it render all night long. I spent all night last night trying to come up with a neat design idea, but nothing was coming to me. This was kind of a last minute thing I threw together, so I could say “Well, at least I did SOMETHING productive with my weekend.”

Do any of you have times when you just can’t get into the groove, even when you may have had a head that was just bursting full of inspiration the day previous? Do any of you have any particularly effective methods to get into the creative groove when you’re not?
